Questions & Answers

Are you open to the public? Can we come and visit your farm?

As my cutting garden is situated within our working family farm we are not open to the public for both safety and privacy reasons.

However if you are part of a botanical, horticultural or garden club and would like to visit please get in touch.

If you are attending one of my workshops or picking days you will have time in the garden with me chatting all things plants and flowers.

I've booked a workshop with you but unfortunately can no longer attend, can you provide me with a refund?

Sadly refunds are not available. However you are welcome to gift your ticket to someone you love - pass on the flowery goodness!

I want to start my own flower garden, what advice can you give me?

Growing flowers for yourself, to cut for your own home or to gift to family and friends is such a wonderful journey and I'm so glad you are considering it.

You can either contact me for a garden consultation (I specialize in on-site cut flower garden consultations) or you can join me for a Seed to Vase Workshop. These both cover the basics of growing blooms and are aimed at those who are just starting out as well as those who have a bit more experience in growing but need a helping hand in setting things up.

I'm planning an event, can I buy flowers from you?

I offer beautiful, freshly picked DIY buckets for your special event.

Whatever is looking fresh and fabulous goes into the bucket (this includes seasonal beauties - like dahlias from December to March). My buckets are a combination of flowers and foliage with a focus on scent, texture and whimsy - imagine an old-fashioned English country garden...

You take your bucket home and arrange to your heart's content.

I pick generously - each bucket contains at least 60 stems of foliage, fillers and flowers.

Do you do wedding arrangements and flower crowns?

As I prefer to be in my garden getting my hands dirty I'll leave the wedding arrangements up to you with a DIY bucket :)

I do, however, make flower crowns to order.

I'd love to bring friends to your farm for flower picking and tea/drinks - is this something you can accommodate?

You are more than welcome to get in touch about booking a private workshop or picking event. Minimum numbers apply.

I'm part of a garden club, can we visit your farm?

I love showing garden clubs around and talking all things plants! I am open to visiting groups during the week (mornings only). Please get in touch to book a slot.

I see you have bees! Do you host bee keeping workshops?

We love our bees on the farm, they are wonderful creatures that keep my flowers pollinated and ensure I have seeds for next year's crops. Our hives are situated away from the cutting garden but please be aware that they are busy little things - especially around the flowers. I will point out any plants they are particularly attracted to at any given time so you are aware of their activity and so both you and the bees can stay safe. I'm chatting to my beekeeper about running a workshop soon - watch this space!

I'm a creative who would love to host a workshop - is your studio available for hire?

Yes, my studio is indeed open to hire when not in use! Contact me for rates and a list of facilities available.

I'm planning a shoot/campaign for a brand I work with - is your space available for photos and filming?

I welcome local brands who would like to use the garden for photographic shoots. Please contact me to discuss your needs.

Can we buy bulbs, seeds and tubers from you?

Not at the moment, but below are some amazing South African suppliers who I personally buy from and support:

I will be hosting a plant sale toward the end of the year, follow me on Instagram as I'll share more information there.
