Hi, I'm Susie, flower farmer, animal lover and general nature enthusiast.

I'm outside most days - rain or shine - planting, prepping and enjoying my garden. Trained in horticulture and garden design at the Royal Horticultural Society of London, and with the experience gained working as head gardener on two estates in Kent, I now run my own flower farm here in Constantia, South Africa.

I'm a fan of all things green & botanical and want to inspire others to find joy in flowers too, whether that is by growing their own blooms in a small cut flower garden or by learning to design and play with flowers as a creative outlet, which is why I offer a range of seasonal workshops. I'm also passionate about providing beautiful, garden flowers that create nostalgia, have a small carbon footprint and are wildlife friendly - if you'd like to buy farm fresh flowers you can purchase a DIY bucket, Friday Flowers bucket or attend one of our Pick Your Own mornings.

I'm drawn to old-fashioned flower varieties (some of my favourites are dahlias, sweetpeas, ranunculus, scabiosa, zinnias, cosmos and Queen Anne’s lace), and love growing flowers for my workshops and gifting them to friends and loved ones. Being able to pick flowers from the garden and arrange them, creating beautiful spaces in my home, brings me great joy.

When I'm not in the garden or my studio you can find me at home with my family or cozied up by the fire with a good book and our myriad of pets.

If you'd like to learn more about growing beautiful blooms and the general behind the scenes busy-ness of running a flower farm you can find me here on Instagram. If you have a question or want to get in touch you can send me a mail via our contact form.
